Like all Soyuz products, the V1 is 100% original from concept to construction. Every element was carefully designed and engineered in-house to create a dynamic microphone that sounds as remarkable as it looks.
At the core of the V1 is a custom Soyuz transformer, wound for a bit more character that retains detail. The precision-machined headbasket goes beyond aesthetics, serving as an acoustic component that is carefully shaped to refine the sound before it even reaches the capsule. The mic body was designed to feel balanced in your hand and to command attention on stage.

The V1 brings out awesome performances, and is a great addition to my Soyuz mic arsenal. It captured nuance in some very loud screams, and gave immediate color to layers of quiet harmonies. Robust, responsive vocals from a carefully-placed stand, and the same tight clarity when I was jumping around with it in hand with absolutely no regard for my surroundings. We really can have it all!
I absolutely love this mic. It's been my new live mic lately. It rejects a lot of the background sound so impressively! It also almost feels like it compresses internally, giving it a nice dynamic response when singing. Nice top end. Highly recommend it.
The V1 is awesome, it kind of reminds me of my Sennheiser 441, where the top end is more open than most dynamics and it stays smooth all the way up. I was surprised how well it captures low end too. I tried it on kick, snare, guitar amp, and vocal and it sounded great on everything.
